8- Hours Pre Assignment
The 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training is the essential
first step to entering the security profession in New York.
This state-mandated course is required before you can be hired
as a security guard and serves as your official introduction to the industry.
16-Hours OJT (On-the-Job Training) certification
The 16-Hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) certification is a required next step after
completing the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training. New York State mandates that this course
be completed within 90 days of employment to continue working legally as a security guard.
Training classes begin on Mondays or Tuesdays at 9:00 AM. Each session is structured to provide a focused, professional
learning experience while allowing students to progress efficiently through their required certifications.
Students receive a 100% refund if requested before training begins.
For two-day courses, a 50% refund is available if requested before day two.
For four-session courses, refunds are issued as follows: 75% before session two, 50% before session three, and 25% before session four.No refunds are issued after a course is completed.
In accordance with state regulations, no non-refundable fees or deposits are charged.
